Was staying at the Hyatt and this place looked like a nice spot for a light dinner close to the hotel. Big mistake. It took a while to finally place our order, partially delayed by the fact that one of the entrees we selected wasn't available. Once we placed our relatively simple order of 2 personal pizzas and a salad, it took an atrocious amount of time, especially for a restaurant that was half empty. Then, when it finally arrived the pizzas were barely warm and the salad was missing key ingredients. After pointing this out to the waitress she credited those missing items back but our overall impression of this place is it's disorganized and not worth it with plenty of other restaurants in walking distance.

My family and I came to matchbox to eat after graduation and the staff were so friendly and attentive! The owner came to personally congratulate me and made sure we were having a good experience. They’re also really accommodating by having halal meat options which we were so happy about. Our server was also so kind! Yummy food too

My expectations were high, but i should have known better than to trust a TickTok Ad. The Pizza should be the star of the show at this place.....2 huge ovens, excellent decor, amazing feel. But the pizza came out flat in every aspect. The dough was undercooked, chewy and no char or crust crisp...actually reminded me of that retangle pizza we got in grade school. Made the pie really hard to eat. The sauce tasted average and the toppings? Well lets just say underwhelming better word is scarce. I know "rustic" is the way you spread out toppings these days but to have 3 slices with none? Even when you asked on ordering to sub bacon for more pepperoni? When the waiter/bartender said he could put more on but he didnt charge me extra in the forst place....then why say yes to swapping proteins? Seemed dismissive to me. Overall, there are too many places to try before id go back....

The garlic chicken pizza was tasty, but the Fettuccine Alfredo wasn’t what I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful, but service was a bit slow since only two people were working. Overall, the food was decent.

Came in for lunch with family. There were two tables with patrons when we got there but then got busy within 15 mins. Unfortunately, only one server and one person manning the bar. Server was quite good but with the lunch surge, most of the food came close to room temp. Food was good but definitely could have been better served hot I don't fault the server as she tried her best to run the floor. Should really have someone bussing and helping bring food out at the very least if only one server working the floor. Would recommend "the pig" if you like a lot of meat on your pizza. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good. Ribs were "ok", again warm, not hot. The Sampson burger with the fried Mac and Cheese was actually quite delicious.
